In the last 24 hours in Europe, the share of electricity produced by wind plants was 29.2 percent.

This is according to data from today's WindEurope Power Numbers newsletter.

Onshore wind power was 24.3 percent, or 2,106 gigawatt hours, and offshore wind power was 4.9 percent, or 422 gigawatt hours.

Denmark (114 percent), Germany (75 percent) and Belgium (45 percent) have the largest share of wind energy, and the largest amount of this type of electricity in the past 24 hours was produced in Germany (1,099 gigawatt hours). France (310 gigawatt hours) and Great Britain (276 gigawatt hours), the report also shows.

For the previous 24 hours, the share of electricity produced by wind power plants in Europe was 16.5 percent.
