Norway delivered another 10,000 artillery shells to Ukraine, which are so necessary for Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine informs about this.

These shells can be used in several types of artillery, including the M109 howitzers, which were transferred by Norway last year.

"For the security of Europe and Norway, it is critical that Ukraine succeeds in repelling an unprovoked attack by Russia. For this, Ukraine needs international support with military equipment and training. Norway made significant contributions during 2022 and will continue to support Ukraine in 2023 and until needed," Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram assured.

How much aid has already been transferred to Ukraine by Norway

It should be noted that already in June 2022, Norway handed over 22 M109 tracked self-propelled howitzers of 155 mm caliber along with equipment, spare parts and ammunition.

In general, as part of military aid, Norway transferred to Ukraine: 4,000 units of M72 anti-tank weapons, 1,500 body armor, 5,000 helmets, 15,000 field rations, 1,000 protective masks with filters, 2,000 sleeping bags, 10,000 sleeping mats and some clothing.

Norway also provided Ukraine with an air defense system.

We will remind that France will hand over Bastion armored personnel carriers and AMX-10RC wheeled tanks to Ukraine.

And US President Joe Biden is considering the possibility of handing over the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle to Ukraine.

After the decision of France to provide tanks to Kyiv, Germany promised new supplies of weapons to Ukraine.

At the same time, according to Politico, Zelensky called on Washington to supply modern tanks and planes, but Biden remained adamant.

The Washington Post reported that the US refuses to give Ukraine Abrams tanks due to a number of technical characteristics.
