The director, actor, producer and chairman of the Union of Russian Cinematographers Nikita Mikhalkov has been admitted to hospital with the flu, TASS reported, citing his representative.

"Nikita Sergeevich is hospitalized with the flu," the message states, without revealing details.


Earlier, the Baza channel in Telegram announced that Mikhalkov was hospitalized with covid pneumonia, and doctors assessed his condition as serious.
