Mobilization in Russia will be continued on a larger scale after the New Year holidays, and summonses can be handed out simply at work.

Russian political analyst, editor-in-chief of the After empire portal Olga Kurnosova told the news channel "FREEDOM" about this.

At the same time, according to the expert, there will be no mass distribution of subpoenas on the streets in Russia.

"In my opinion, it will not be a manhunt on the streets, because this is such a very public story. But

handing out subpoenas at work is the easiest and most effective way

, because it is impossible to refuse this subpoena, because you receive it at work," she said. Kurnosova.

"Accordingly, the only way, if you did not come when called, is to change your place of residence and change your job," the analyst added.

She also expressed her opinion about potential

protests in the Russian Federation against the war

in Ukraine.

Kurnosova thinks that this could have an effect on stopping the war, because President Vladimir Putin is afraid of losing power.

"Even if you count all those who left Russia, if instead of leaving, they came to Moscow and went out there, it doesn't matter where - on Krasnaya, on Manezhna, on Triumfalna, on any square in Moscow - they would even go there would not fit. And, of course, it would be such an event, after which

Putin would have to change something

. In my opinion, he would simply stop fighting, because he fears for his power much more than for anything else," - the expert believes .

We will remind, the head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, announced that on January 5, Russia will start all processes regarding the new mobilization.

It can be announced on the same day or on January 16 - it doesn't matter, says Budanov.

The main thing that will change is that the Russian Federation will close the exit for men.

Serhiy Cherevaty, the spokesman of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stated that the Ukrainian army is capable of nullifying Russia's mobilization efforts thanks to its training, motivation and the latest weapons.
