Over the past day, January 4,

87,000 people and 18,000 vehicles crossed Ukraine's western

borders with the EU and Moldova.

This was reported in the Western regional office of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

According to border guards, during the previous day, the number of citizens entering Ukraine exceeded the number of those leaving.

26 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest went to Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova.

 with neighboring countries for departure from Ukraine were recorded at the following checkpoints:

Republic of Poland:

"Ustylug" - 70 l/a, 0 buses (pedestrians are not allowed);

"Krakivets" - 15 l/a, 6 buses;

(pedestrians are not allowed to pass).

Slovak Republic:

"Uzhhorod" - 40 l/a, 1 bus (pedestrians are not allowed to pass).

Hungary:

"Kosino" - 15 l/a, 0 pedestrians (works from 08:00 to 20:00);

"Luzhanka" - 10 l/a, 0 pedestrians.

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale offensive, 

more than 14.5 million citizens have left

Ukraine , of which at least 11.7 million went to the countries of the European Union.

7.7 million are registered in Europe as recipients of temporary protection.
