The presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey, which are to be held on June 18, may be held earlier, Reuters reported, citing a statement by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"You all know the importance of the 2023 elections, the date of which may be moved a little earlier due to seasonal considerations," Erdogan said in a speech in Ankara.
