Anjali's mother told reporters that her daughter has never consumed alcohol in her life.

new Delhi:

Anjali Singh's family claimed on Wednesday that they had neither seen Nidhi nor heard about her from Anjali.

Nidhi is lying and she should be charged with murder.

Describing the day of the accident, Nidhi had said that Anjali was drunk and was insisting on driving the scooty herself.

Anjali's family doctor also rejected Nidhi's claims that Anjali was very drunk on the night of the accident, saying that the autopsy report found no trace of alcohol in her stomach.

Anjali's mother told reporters that her daughter has never consumed alcohol in her life.

Rekha Devi said, "I have never seen or heard Nidhi. She never came to our house. She is lying. My daughter never drank alcohol. She never came home drunk. Nidhi is lying." ."

Anjali had died in the early hours of the new year.

On January 1, at around 2 am, his scooter was hit by a car and dragged for 12 kms.

Anjali's body was found in Kanjhawala, outer Delhi.

Allegedly five people in the car have been booked under sections including culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

The five accused were sent to police custody for three days on Monday.

Anjali's uncle Prem questioned Nidhi's statements saying, "Why didn't she inform anyone about the incident? She is lying. Why didn't she inform the police and her family? Why didn't she come to the police?" We are satisfied with the police investigation, but they should take strict action. This is not an accident, but murder. Section 302 should be imposed on Nidhi."

Anjali's family doctor Bhupesh said that it was not a normal murder.

He said, "As per the autopsy report, there was food inside the stomach. If she was intoxicated, the report would have mentioned the presence of chemicals. But the report says only food (inside the stomach) was detected."

The doctor said, "A murder is considered heinous when the victim is brutally tortured before death. According to the postmortem report, she had 40 injuries."

Nidhi had earlier said that the five men accused of dragging Anjali under their car killed her "deliberately" as they kept driving despite knowing that Anjali was trapped under the vehicle.

Recalling that fateful night, Nidhi said that there was no music playing in the car.

The driver knew that Anjali was being dragged under the wheels.

Nidhi had said that Anjali got trapped under the car and was dragged into the car.

The people in the car did not try to save Anjali even once.

She said that she did not tell anyone about the accident because she was scared and feared that she would be blamed for it.
