Former Maharashtra Congress MP Hussain Dalwai has given a controversial statement regarding Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (UP CM Yogi Adityanath).
He has commented on Yogi Adityanath's saffron clothes.
Dalwai said that Yogi should wear modern clothes instead of saffron clothes.
Hussain Dalwai advised, 'Don't talk about religion every day, don't wear saffron clothes... and be a little modern.
Adopt modern ideas.'
UP CM Yogi Adityanath is on Mumbai tour from 4 January.
On Thursday, he attended the Pre-UP Global Investors Summit program in Mumbai.
CM Yogi is going to talk to big industrialists and film personalities on the possibilities of investment in Uttar Pradesh.
'Develop good industries in UP'
Hussain Dalwai further said, 'Instead of taking industries from Maharashtra, Yogi Adityanath should develop new industries in his state.
Maharashtra has given good facilities for industry, so instead of taking industry from Maharashtra, you should develop new industries in the state.
An environment should be created to allow them to flourish." Dalwai said Yogi should adopt some modernity, as industry is a symbol of modernity.
BJP hit back
after Congress leader's comment on Yogi Adityanath's clothes, Bharatiya Janata Party has become aggressive.
BJP leaders have again termed Congress as anti-Hindu.
BJP leader Ram Kadam said, 'Congress has insulted the clothes of saints.
The real anti-Hindu face of the Congress has come to the fore once again.
At the same time, BJP leader Kavinder Gupta said, 'UP has got a diamond like Yogi.
The mentality of the Congress has always been hostile to saffron.
Even after appeasement, the Congress does not have Muslim voters today.
Yogi's roadshow in Mumbai today
UP CM Yogi Adityanath is going to do a roadshow in the country's financial capital Mumbai today.
After this, he will meet leading industrialists and bankers as well as prominent film personalities of the country in the context of the upcoming Film City in Noida.
After Mumbai, the CM will also hold an Investors Roadshow of UP in Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.
According to ANI, speaking in Mumbai before the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit program, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, 'We have worked in every sector and without any discrimination, have given its benefits to every section.
No one can say that we discriminated.
It is noteworthy that in December, under the guidance of CM Yogi, eight delegations of ministers and senior officials visited 21 cities in 16 countries and received investment proposals worth Rs 7.12 lakh crore.
