"Breakfast with 1+1" tells about the filming:

The peculiarity of the filming was that it did not take place on the platform, but the composer's signature white grand piano stood right on the subway tracks.

Filming took place at night, and the tracks, of course, were de-energized.

"The idea arose to tell the world about the life of civilian Ukrainians through a socio-cultural music video project with the working title "Music of Underground Kyiv".

From February 24, 2022, the lives of millions of Ukrainians continued in bomb shelters - childhood, dreams, ideas, as well as music - from now on also settled in the Kyiv subway.

It is difficult for the world community to imagine how an urban mode of transport can become a refuge for thousands of people, families, a refuge for creativity and creativity," says Yevhen Khmara about the idea of the project.

Thus, the project aims to show the indomitability of the Ukrainian spirit.

Even in the subway, which has been turned into a shelter, life goes on and the music continues to play, even as the city shudderes and groans from the explosions.

During the shooting, Yevhen performed the author's composition REVIVAL, which is dedicated to all Ukrainians today.

The military orchestra of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the leadership of conductor Dmytro Antoniuk joined the project.

50 musicians, live, to the impressive acoustics of the concrete tunnels between the Kontraktova Ploshcha and Taras Shevchenko metro stations.

"Music has great power.

Music unites and gives emotions that can penetrate into the depths of our souls and hearts.

This composition is a prayer.

Prayer for all the victims of this bloody, terrorist war.

I know that we will win, because the truth is behind us and God is with us," Yevhen Khmara emphasizes.
