The US authorities discussed with the leaders of Israel the possibilities for stopping the supply of weapons from
Iran
, in particular UAVs to Russia, which uses them against peaceful Ukrainians.
This was stated by the spokesman of the US State Department, Ned Price, writes Ukrinform.
"We, without a doubt, discussed with our Israeli partners the threat posed by Iranian UAV technologies, as well as their spread around the world, including Russia," he noted.
This became the main topic for conversations with the state structures of Israel, both the State Department and the White House.
The representative of the foreign policy department emphasized that Washington uses the available levers to prevent Tehran from implementing schemes for the supply of weapons abroad.
The USA has introduced sanctions against individuals and legal entities involved in these arrangements.
In addition, the American side continues to monitor the targets for new sanctions.
The United States is coordinating its approach with allies and partners around the world to stem the flow of military technology from Iran to Russia.

Russia uses

to attack residential buildings, energy infrastructure facilities, and the civilian population of Ukraine.
Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollakhian admitted that
his country supplied Russia with drones,
but insisted that this happened before the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky warned Ukrainians that
Russia is planning a new long-term attack by Iranian "martyrs".
