[Reporter Cai Wenju/Tainan Report] The 2023 Tainan Military Village New Year’s Shopping Street will be held from January 5th to 9th on the Baseball Avenue next to the Tainan Municipal Baseball Stadium. Every morning, there will be a limited supply of 200 military dependents’ village meat buns for free. The organizer welcomes everyone to visit the Military Military Village’s New Year’s Shopping Street and taste delicious food.

Nan City Councilor Lin Meiyan co-organized the 2023 Tainan Military Village New Year Shopping Street event with the Nanying Military Village Cultural Center, the first unit of the Military Military Village New Year’s Shopping Street in South District, the South District Office, and Tainan’s major military dependent villages yesterday. Jin Guanhong, curator of the Nanying Military Village Cultural Center, and Wang Anguo, director of the Xinsheng District, said that this year, the New Year’s Shopping Street in the Military Village will be held on Baseball Avenue next to the Tainan Municipal Baseball Stadium (No. 257, Section 1, Jiankang Road, South District) from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. In the morning, 200 copies of authentic military buns and customs clearance activities will be provided, as well as performances by street performers and lottery activities. Lin Meiyan said that it has been 20 years since the Tainan Military Village New Year Shopping Street was held in 2004. This year's event focuses on enthusiasm, warmth, tolerance, and care.

During the New Year’s Market in the Military Military Villages, there are also free charity stalls for non-profit groups, and a collection of New Year’s food from the military military villages in Tainan.
