In Ukraine, four traitors who collected information about units of the Defense Forces and critical infrastructure facilities in the front-line areas of Donetsk

region  

were sentenced to 6 to 8 years in prison .

This was reported by the SBU press service.

It is noted that they were primarily interested in the locations of bases and movements of Ukrainian troops in the Bakhmut and Kramatorsk directions.

In addition, the intruders informed the enemy about the technical condition of the energy facilities on which the Russian occupiers carried out missile strikes.

The criminals were detained during a special operation of the SBU in Donetsk region.

In particular, among the convicts is an enemy informer who tried to identify the combat positions of the HIMARS reactive artillery systems.

Another criminal is a former electrician from Dobropill, who gave the Russian invaders information about the restoration of electricity supply in the area.

The occupiers needed the information obtained to prepare repeated attacks on critical infrastructure.

The war in Ukraine and traitors

Since the beginning of the full-scale

invasion,

law enforcement officers have been identifying and arresting citizens who cooperated with the enemy.

Thus, the SBU detained in Kherson the former head of the so-called "branch of the Russian Railways", who

during the occupation helped transfer military echelons from Russia to Ukraine

. 

In the Kharkiv region, a 27-year-old former

police officer agreed to cooperate with the Russian occupation authorities

and joined the ranks of their illegal armed formation.

The traitor was detained after de-occupation.

In Kherson, a local resident was detained,

who guarded the administrative buildings of the Rashists

during the occupation of the city, and detained Ukrainian patriots and sent them to torture camps.
