A single-parent family, Mrs. Xu, died of illness and left two orphans. Police officers from the Jiawei Police Station of the Gangshan Police Sub-bureau assisted in seeking social resources to help out.

[Reporter Su Funan/Kaohsiung Report] A 44-year-old woman surnamed Xu worked part-time on weekdays and supported two children who were only 6 years old by herself. Xu's wife died of illness on the night of New Year's Day. The two helpless children were at a loss and cried loudly , the police were reported to check, in addition to assisting in reporting for judicial inspection, and assisting in seeking social resources to help overcome difficulties.

The Jiawei Police Station of the Gangshan Police Sub-bureau received an indirect notification on the evening of the 1st that there was a child crying loudly for its mother on Jiashu Road, Qiaotou District, and hoped that the police would come to the scene to check. The police found that Xu Fugang had died of illness. It was discovered by accident that Mrs. Xu was a single-parent family. She supported two children who were only 6 years old by doing odd jobs on weekdays. After she died of illness, she left behind two helpless children.

Huang Jingwei, the director of Jiawei, and Huang Baihan, a police officer, learned the news.
