"We remain committed to promoting a safe, stable, democratic, prosperous and peaceful future for the South Caucasus region."

APA reports that Ned Price, press secretary of the US State Department, said this at a press conference.

According to him, the United States continues bilateral relations with like-minded partners such as the European Union and international organizations such as the OSCE in order to facilitate direct dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Ned Price recalled US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken's meetings with his colleagues from Azerbaijan and Armenia:

"As you know, the state secretary had the opportunity to bring together his partners and colleagues from Armenia and Azerbaijan several times.

We will continue to take the steps that we believe have the best prospects to move towards the vision of a secure, stable, democratic, prosperous and peaceful South Caucasus region.

We, of course, want the parties themselves to make progress.

It is beyond our scope to explain how this issue can be comprehensively resolved.

This is a difficult task for the parties themselves," Ned Price emphasized.
