The government has approved a National Youth Program.

The duration of its implementation for the current program period is 3 years - 2023-2025.

The program was developed in response to these challenges, with its main priority being investing in youth as a significant social capital by promoting active involvement of young people, their initiative and awareness, non-formal education and training, lifelong learning, innovation, creativity, solidarity and empathy.

The participation of young people in projects under the Program will expand their experience and skills for inclusion in the values ​​of civil society, science, culture, art, entrepreneurship, healthy lifestyle and sports, as well as create a favorable environment in which young people can develop their potential and to have their additional personal achievements.

This will help prevent anti-social behavior and risky behavior among the country's youth.

Her performance is aimed at young people between the ages of 15 and 29, who are her direct target group.

The program envisages funding of youth activities in the following key areas: Youth activities and youth work, Youth initiatives and campaigns, Equal access to youth activities for young people from small settlements and Improving the conditions of youth infrastructure.

The necessary funds for its implementation during the program period are provided within the budget of the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the relevant year in the period 2023-2025, in accordance with the expenditure ceilings in the three-year budget forecast.

When implementing the Program, for each year of its implementation, no less than 20% of young people, reached including through communication campaigns and social networks and media, should be covered.

The share of young people who participated in direct activities under the Program will be 2.5% (according to the official data of the National Statistical Institute for the respective years).

The projects should cover 10% of the country's young people with fewer opportunities and 30% from small settlements.

Under the Program, 100 youth workers will be covered, 16 youth spaces will be renovated, and the proportion of anti-social acts and risky behavior among the youth in the country will be reduced.
