Preparations for the delivery of "Patriot" anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine have begun.

APA reports with reference to "Ukrinform" that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said this at an online press conference held for local media.

"Last year, we concluded with a revolutionary decision agreed by Ukrainian and US leaders Vladimir Zelensky and Joseph Biden to provide Ukraine with Patriot systems. We greatly appreciate this step by the United States. We look forward to the deployment of Patriot systems as soon as possible. This Preparations for the handover of the systems have already started," Kuleba said.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy added that today President Zelensky and the entire diplomatic team are intensively working on new solutions regarding the supply of new types of Western weapons: "This primarily concerns the supply of Western-type tanks and other armored vehicles."
