In the last 24 hours in Europe, the share of electricity produced by wind plants was 16.5 percent.

This is indicated by the data from today's WindEurope Power Numbers bulletin, cited by BTA.

Onshore wind power was 12.9 percent, or 1,081 gigawatt hours, and offshore wind power was 3.6 percent, or 304 gigawatt hours.

Almost 20% is the electricity produced by wind power plants in Europe during the last 24 hours

With the largest share of wind energy are Denmark (62 percent), Great Britain (35 percent) and Germany (33 percent), and the most amount of this type of electricity during the past 24 hours was produced in Germany (436 gigawatt hours). Great Britain (204 gigawatt hours) and France (171 gigawatt hours), the report also shows.

For the previous 24 hours, the share of electricity produced by wind power plants in Europe was 18.6 percent.
