In view of the killing of civilians in the recent terrorist attacks in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, the Central Government will send additional 18 companies (1800 soldiers) of CRPF.
According to sources, soldiers will be deployed in Poonch and Rajouri districts.
Six people, including two minor cousins, were killed in two terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.
Eight companies of CRPF will soon be deployed from places near the place of posting in Jammu and Kashmir, while 10 companies of CRPF are being sent from Delhi.
The source said that this step has been taken following a recent order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs amid intelligence inputs about a terror attack in the Jammu region.
Two cousins were killed in an IED (explosive device) blast on Monday.
Whereas on Sunday evening, terrorists opened fire on three houses in the area of Rajouri district, in which four civilians were killed and six were injured.
Everyone was cremated at their native place on Tuesday.
Four-year-old Vihaan Sharma, 16-year-old Samiksha Sharma, Satish Kumar (45), Deepak Kumar (23), Pritam Lal (57) and Shishu Pal (32) were
killed in the terror attacks.

Officials said that everyone was cremated on Tuesday amidst tight security arrangements.
He told that security has been increased in Rajouri city and surrounding areas.
He said that a cordon and search operation is on to nab the terrorists involved in the killings.

A bandh was observed in Kishtwar district on Tuesday in protest against the attacks.
Shops and business establishments in the city remained closed and traffic was partially off the roads.
