Bengaluru:

The sanitation workers of Bengaluru's Yeshwanthpur railway station found a decomposed body of a woman inside a drum kept on platform number 1 on Wednesday.

The police have expressed the possibility of murder.

The team of forensic experts who reached the railway station is engaged in the investigation. 

According to forensic experts, the age of the woman is said to be between 20 and 25 years, her identity has not been established yet.

Kusuma Hariprasad, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Bengaluru Division of South Western Railway, said, "Sweepers found a decomposed body inside a drum kept on platform number 1. A team of forensic experts is engaged in the investigation at the railway station."

Railway Police has registered the case.
