In the middle of last year, the swimming pool’s annual turnover was less than 100,000 yuan. Originally, a new manufacturer was going to settle in, but Zhang Kexin, the mayor of Xinke, found that the internal equipment was old and needed to be repaired, so he voluntarily terminated the operation contract.

Zhang Kexin pointed out that after taking office, she found that the swimming pool equipment was old and some of them were unusable. If they were directly handed over to the manufacturer for operation, the quality and safety would be detrimental to the townspeople, so she decided to terminate the contract.

However, Zhang Kexin also found out that the original contract was prepared to compensate for liquidated damages, but the signed contract was too simple, and the town office did not even have to pay liquidated damages. Although it saved the town office a lot of money, it also highlighted the incompleteness of the previous contract.

As for the future operation direction of Tongxiao Township’s swimming pool, Zhang Kexin plans to seek adoption from Taipower. After all, Tongxiao Township has also set up a large number of electricity towers due to national policies in addition to thermal power plants. I hope Taipower can take on the responsibility of being a good neighbor. If Taipower is unwilling Adoption will be run by the Town Hall itself.

Since Tongxiao Township Swimming Pool consumes a lot of electricity bills in summer due to the steam room, heated swimming pool and other equipment, Zhang Kexin estimates that it has to spend more than 4 million yuan in electricity bills in summer alone, which is quite huge.

At present, the Tongxiao Township Office is completely renovating the orientation of the swimming pool, and is drawing up an improvement plan and raising funds for the repair.
