The victim said that the whole process took about 30 minutes. The police officer also claimed that the investigation of the case was not over yet and asked her to go back to assist the investigation later.

The officer involved in the case also argued that he "did it himself" because a tool to examine the victim's private parts wasn't working properly, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The police are currently investigating, and the forensic team has also collected suspected semen components in the interrogation room where the incident occurred.

Malaysia's national police chief Acryl Sani confirmed the incident, saying that the police officers involved had been detained for questioning, but declined to give further details.
