Ivan Stupak, a military expert of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future, expressed the version that the war against Ukraine in Russia was not planned by the military, but that the Chekists were special services.

Stupak voiced this opinion on the air of the "Freedom" TV channel on Tuesday, January 3.

"They didn't call this war a war, but a "special operation". This is a reference to those who planned all this. It was not planned by the military, but by the Chekists - the FSB and all those in power. Because the operation is a term of purely special services . It can last one day, a week, a month, but it cannot last for months and years.

The "special operation" was designed for a short period of time

, but it got out of control and became a full-scale war for which no one prepared," he explained .

According to the expert, the Russian occupiers had no backup options.

They really thought about taking Ukraine in three days.

"

The Russians had no plan B, no C, or any other plan.

There was just one - everyone went to Kyiv, the Ukrainians were scared, Zelensky was scared - and that was the end of it," Stupak believes.

Deoccupation of Ukraine

According to forecasts, the year 2023 should become decisive in the war between Russia and Ukraine.

General of the Army of Ukraine, former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Mykola Malomuzh said that Ukraine is preparing to completely liberate its territories.

According to him, the New Year is a turning point in changing the psychology of Ukrainians.

And the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,

Kyrylo Budanov

, was one of those who predicted Russia's war against Ukraine, the attack on Kyiv and the liberation of Kherson.

And now he predicts that as early as May 2023, Ukraine will liberate Crimea, which is occupied by the Russian Federation
