[Reporter Huang Mingtang/Taitung Report] A 61-year-old man surnamed Wang from Luye Township, Taitung County was riding a motorcycle without a helmet yesterday. Police officers Gao Qiang and Wu Wenyan from the Luye Branch stopped him to maintain public traffic safety.
As a result, as soon as he approached, he smelled a strong smell of alcohol. After the breath alcohol tester was tested, the alcohol concentration was as high as 0.81mg/l.
It was later discovered that he was not wearing shoes, and the weather was cold and rainy. The police even bought slippers for him to put on, and then transferred them to the Taitung District Prosecutor's Office for investigation according to law.
The Guanshan Police Sub-bureau pointed out that the police officers from the Luye Sub-station patrolled the section of Zhonghua Road in the urban area and found a person who was not wearing a helmet. The weather was cold and rainy, so they stopped him.
