The Cabinet of Ministers has identified 10 directions that will be worked on throughout 2023.

Among them are the energy front, Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO, provision of the army, and others.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this during the first meeting of the Cabinet this year.

"2023 should be the year of Ukraine's victory. We are doing everything possible for this. We have 10 priority areas of work for the year," the head of the government wrote on the Telegram channel.

As Shmyhal reported,

the main directions for this year will be:

  • Provision of the army, defense and security.

  • Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO.

  • Energy front.

  • Restoration of Ukraine.

  • Macro-financial stability and business support programs.

  • Veteran policy.

  • Education.

  • Continuation of the decentralization reform.

  • Introduction of mandatory pension accumulation and reform of the stock market and the capital market.

  • State property management reform and public administration reform.

  • What will happen to pensions and salaries for teachers in 2023

Back in 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a teacher salary reform with an increase of the minimum salary to four subsistence levels by 2023.

However, salary increases were postponed every year due to lack of funds.

It will be the same this year.

Salaries for teachers will be increased no earlier than 2024.

The Ministry of Social Policy informs that pensions in

    Ukraine

will be listed in March 2023.

The amount of the recalculation will depend on the percentage of inflation, which will become known at the end of January 2023.

In turn, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, assured that in 2023, despite the war, the

Cabinet of Ministers will carry out indexation of pensions.

According to the head of the government, almost 11 million Ukrainian pensioners receive their payments on time.
