The 13 townships and towns in Nantou County are clearing up huge garbage during the Lunar New Year. The Environmental Protection Bureau has also completed the statistics. Check the official websites of each office.

The Lunar New Year is just around the corner, and many people are already starting to clean their homes and other related tasks. The cleaning teams of township and municipal offices are also closed on New Year’s Eve, but most of them will not be closed from January 22 to 25 (the first day to the fourth day of the Lunar New Year). Garbage, until the fifth day of the Lunar New Year to resume normal garbage collection.

The Nantou Environmental Protection Bureau pointed out that due to limited manpower, the cleaning teams of 13 township and municipal offices all adopt an appointment system for the removal of huge garbage, and the time for accepting appointments in each office is inconsistent. Before discarding, be sure to make an appointment with the cleaning team of the public office where you live, so as to avoid damaging the environment and get rid of the old and bring out the new.

The time for accepting appointments for the removal of huge garbage in each public office is as follows: Lugu Township from now until January 11; Zhongliao Township and Xinyi Township from now until January 13; Nantou City and Caotun Town Market Township and Guoxing Township are open from now until the 18th; Zhushan Township accepts appointments from January 9th to 13th; Mingjian Township accepts appointments from January 12th, 13th, 16th, 17th and 19th; Yuchi Township accepts January 13th to 18th Appointments are available; Shuili Township accepts appointments from January 9th to 14th; Renai Township accepts appointments on January 7th, 11th, 18th and 21st.

The garbage removal notice issued by the Nantou City Office to citizens clearly indicates that garbage collection and transportation will be suspended from the first day to the fourth day of the Lunar New Year.
