[Reporter Wang Shuxiu/Tainan Report] Yuanhe Palace, which has been established for more than 300 years, held a fire ceremony today. Nearly 100 god statues were moved out of the temple hall and moved to a temporary pavilion. Among them, 5 statues were more than a hundred years old. It is rare for the five spirits of the temple to be invited out of the temple at the same time, attracting cultural and historical workers from all over the world to come and take pictures.

Due to water leakage and other problems in the temple building of Yuanhe Palace, the Bailong Nunnery held a ground-breaking ceremony a few days ago to prepare for reconstruction.

Wang Bingyuan, the chairman of the temple, said that except for the three clay statues weighing more than 100 kilograms, the rest of the statues, including nearly a hundred gods, will be invited to the temporary pavilion. It is estimated that the reconstruction will take at least 2 years.

We also took this opportunity to sort out the statues of gods and ancient objects in the temple, and make a catalog with pictures and texts, so as to continue to pass on from generation to generation.
