The issue of the demand for the hearing of the Bihar spurious liquor case was raised before Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud.

The Chief Justice said that there is no need to mention this matter at present because we have already said that the matters being filed will be listed in the next week itself.

The Supreme Court will hear the matter on January 9.

In fact, Aryavarta Mahasabha Foundation has filed a complaint on the case of death due to spurious liquor in Chhapra, Bihar.

In this petition, a demand has been made to investigate the matter by the SIT and compensation to the victims.

Apart from this, a demand has also been made to make a national action plan to control the manufacture, trade and sale of illegal liquor across the country.
