A sharp cooling with strong frosts and snowfalls is coming to Ukraine.

This was reported by the national forecaster Stanislav Shchedrin on January 2.

"From January 6, 20-degree frosts, snowfalls and blizzards will come to Ukraine. From January 4, a sharp cooling down to +1+5 degrees and rains, sometimes with sleet, are expected throughout the country. And from January 6, the air temperature will drop very significantly to in the north-eastern regions, at night down to minus 17-20 degrees. In the west of Ukraine, it will be slightly warmer to minus 10-13 degrees, in the rest of the territory the temperature will fluctuate between 10-16 degrees of frost," Shchedrin writes.

heavy snowfall and blizzards are expected
