The amount of ammunition of the Russian occupiers has decreased significantly.

If in March 2022 the enemy produced 60,000 artillery ammunition per day, this parameter is currently 19,000-20,000. In the near future, it may decrease to 10,000-15,000 per day.

Oleg Katkov, the editor-in-chief of Defense Express, said this on the air of the telethon.

With reference to the information of the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyryl Budanov, Oleg Katkov noted that in March 2023, the availability of ammunition at the enemy will drop below the level of 30% of what is in their storage.

"This will not mean that they will not have ammunition at all, but if in March 2022 they produced 60 thousand artillery ammunition per day, now this parameter is 19-20 thousand. In the near future, it may decrease to 10-15 thousand. per day. Perhaps it will be absolute parity in terms of the number of shots that the Russian Federation can carry out," the expert noted.

According to him, Ukrainian artillery knows how to use these ammunition correctly and effectively.

"We have an advantage in the presence of automated control systems, which increases accuracy, as well as in the presence of high-precision weapons. A conventional artillery 155-mm projectile has 1.5-2 times more fragmentation and explosive substance," he added.

Earlier it was said that Russia uses 40-year-old ammunition and intensively burns its reserves on the battlefield.

And military expert and reserve colonel Roman Svitan told how many missiles remained in the Russian Federation.
