On the basis of open sources, as of January 2, 2023, the journalists of the publications managed to establish the names of 500 mobilized soldiers who died in the combat zone on the territory of Ukraine.

These data do not take into account those who died during the shelling of Makeevka, as their names have not yet been published by official bodies.

Only in the last week of December, investigators established the names of 46 mobilized soldiers who died at the front in Ukraine.

The real losses among the mobilized, the journalists clarify, may be much higher, since many reports about soldiers killed in Ukraine since October do not indicate their military status - whether he was mobilized, a contract worker or a volunteer.

Taking into account the losses of Russian forces from October to December, the largest number of dead mobilized people were from the Sverdlovsk region (99 people).

Chelyabinsk region is in second place (43 people), Volgograd region is in third place (32 people).

The average age of the dead is 30–35 years.

Another 38 mobilized, according to the investigators, died on the territory of Russia - most often due to heart problems, due to accidents or due to alcohol abuse at the training points.
