In the Kremenchutsk district of the
Poltava region,
a roommate poured kerosene on a woman and set her on fire.
The victim was admitted to a medical institution in a moderate condition.
This is reported by the police of Poltava region.
The incident between the couple happened on January 1.
Around 3:00 p.m., doctors informed the local law enforcement officers that a 58-year-old woman was hospitalized with thermal burns at her place of residence.
According to preliminary data,
during a quarrel, a 45-year-old man poured kerosene on the victim and set her on fire
.
The figure was detained.
The issue of notifying a man on suspicion of attempted murder and choosing a preventive measure for him is being resolved.
The pre-trial investigation under part 1 of article 15, part 1 of article 115 (attempted murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is ongoing.
He may face up to 15 years.
