In the Lviv region, the scheduled

power outages

, which were suspended this morning, January 2, are being restored.

This was announced by the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.

"Until 4:00 p.m., electricity will be supplied to consumers without any outages. After that, you should expect hourly outages," Kozytskyi informed.

We would like to remind you that during December 31, January 1, and in the morning of January 2, there were no power outages in Lviv Oblast.

As reported in "Ukrenergo", the enemy attacked and damaged the energy infrastructure at night, because of this, in order to prevent additional accidents,

consumption limits for the evening period were brought to the regions

.

The situation with electricity in Ukraine

On Monday, January 2, an

 emergency blackout

was applied in Kyiv as a  result of a nighttime Russian attack by drones.

Emergency blackouts have been canceled in the Kyiv region.

According to the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko, Ukraine's energy system has been under constant systematic shelling for almost three months.

According to the minister, the system will continue to withstand further possible shocks, however,

the power outage schedules will remain in Ukraine until the end of winter.
