An attack on Kyiv by the Russian army from the territory of Belarus is still possible, but unlikely.

"24 Kanal" was told about this by reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military expert, pilot-instructor Roman Svitan.

According to him, the Russians most likely chose other directions for their movement.

Their mobilized 150,000-200,000 enter Donbas.

They move mainly in two directions: from Rostov-on-Don through Taganrog - to Mariupol.

And then they separate.

The part moves to Berdyansk, Pology, Tokmak, Melitopol.

And part of it started to go north towards Donetsk.

Currently, the Donetsk region is mainly fueled - the Bakhmut direction to Lysychansk.

"The mobilization resources that the Russians have will fuel the Donetsk front. We can see it now - it happens almost every day," Svitan said.

According to his information, in the last two weeks of December 2022, the southern and southeastern fronts strengthened.

"It is unlikely that the Russians will advance from Belarus. Everything will remain there in this latent form," Svitan said.

However, it is known for sure that Russian recruits are trained by Belarusian instructors.

So, the occupiers can use Belarus to train their mobilized.

"The Belarusian army is small, but their training grounds are more or less good. More than 10,000 to 15,000 people can train at them for 1-2 months," a military expert believes.

Belarusian instructors "bring the Mobiks" to a certain level of training: they teach how to handle weapons, certain equipment (the equipment is also provided by the Belarusian side).

"And they already go through combat coordination with combat commanders who are taken from the fronts. And then they go to the front line," - emphasized the colonel of the Armed Forces.

According to Svitan, the movement of mobilized Russians, which is constantly happening, is a rotational movement,

- says Svitan.

According to him, already from Belarus more or less prepared troops in battalions enter Donbas through Valuyki.

And from the central parts of Russia, the military enters through Rostov-on-Don.

"Just such a battalion entered Makiivka, on the 19th of Bursa. I myself am from Makiivka, so I know the area very well. This PTU building stood separately, and the battalion was stationed there. Of course, our intelligence saw this and a HIMARS package flew there. This battalion is there." doubled," he explained.

It should be noted that the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, said: the self-proclaimed leader of Belarus, Oleksandr Lukashenko, is afraid of directly entering into a

war

against Ukraine and will not allow it.
