[Reporter Wu Baixuan/Taipei Report] The Christian Relief Association and the Air English Classroom co-organized the "1919 Love Walk-Relief Program for Families in Difficulty". For example, sister Amei (pseudonym), who is in her 70s and lives in Pingtung, was unable to repair her home due to a fire for half a year. The above-mentioned volunteers repainted her home and contacted other charity teams to take over future repairs.

The China Christian Relief Association stated that the event called for love and fundraising. This year entered the 21st session. A total of 62 people joined the Taiwan-Taiwan motorcade, which was the most in history. The 1,300-kilometer Long March of Love officially started last month on Christmas Day.

Among them, on the 7th day of the journey around Taiwan, I arrived in Manzhou Township, Pingtung County. In the southernmost remote township, I repaired three families in need, such as sister Amei (pseudonym), who is in her 70s, and her younger brother and nephew who are handicapped. Lives with the only 50-year-old mentally handicapped son. Originally supported by a part-time job done by sister Amei, but was injured in a car accident and the whole family suffered financially. However, the first floor also had severe wall cancer due to water leakage on the second floor.

Local evangelist Fafawuni said that residents in remote villages have a weak awareness of disaster prevention, and many people still have power lines in their homes that have been used for decades.

This year, the "warriors" who participated in the Long March of Love team helped Miss Amei's family, repainting the two mottled rooms on the first floor, and helping to assemble ceiling lights, wardrobes and beds.

Xia Zhongjian, Secretary-General of the Rescue Association, said that the reconstruction of the damage caused by the fire requires professional skills and a lot of time. The tasks of the warriors are basic cleaning, garbage removal, painting and furniture installation, so that they can live more comfortably.

However, other benevolent groups such as the Hengshan Charity Group have been contacted, and the reconstruction and renovation of the second floor will be taken over by them in the future.

Huang Liheng participated in Taiwan for the first time this year, and assisted with the painting of Sister Amei's home with two other colleagues from the company.

He said, "As soon as I entered Miss Ami's house, I could feel the hardships and hardships of her life. When I saw Amei's smile after finishing the work, I was very satisfied and touched." He also pointed out that one person can ride a bicycle fast, but a group of People can ride far.

In the same way, when a group of people gather together, they can do more and broader things, which is the spirit of 1919 love to move!

The second floor of Sister Amei’s house was damaged and leaked due to the fire, and the first floor where the family of four lived had serious cancer on the wall of the room.

Due to the fire on the second floor, Amei’s family of four squeezed together on the first floor. In 1919, the warriors around Taiwan traveled thousands of miles to help and repair it, allowing the family to feel the warmth of society.
