In the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea, measures to mobilize the Russian army are ongoing.

This was announced in the evening briefing of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Sunday, January 1.

"Military commissariats have started checking the lists of persons who have not yet participated in a large-scale invasion of Ukraine and are subject to conscription for mobilization in 2023," the message reads.

It will be recalled that earlier the occupiers launched an agitation campaign in the annexed Crimea regarding enlistment in military service under a contract.
