Fragments of a downed Russian missile, which the occupiers fired over Ukraine on December 31, were found in the Kyiv region. 

This was announced by the Chief of the Kyiv Oblast Police Andrii Nebytov. 

The wreckage of a Russian rocket was found in the middle of a field near one of the settlements in the Kyiv region.

"Wreckage of a Russian missile was found in one of the districts of Kyiv region after yesterday's massive enemy missile attack. Parts of the Kh-55 were found in a field near a populated place. There were no casualties or damage," wrote Nebytov.

Missile attack on Ukraine on December 31 

On December 31, on New Year's Eve, Russian terrorists launched a new large-scale missile attack on Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, on December 31, the occupiers fired more than 20 cruise missiles over Ukraine.

PPO eliminated 12 of them.

Terrorists damaged the hotel and buildings of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University in Kyiv.

Terrorists also attacked Mykolaiv and Khmelnytskyi.

A 22-year-old girl died in Khmelnytsk due to shelling by terrorists.
