Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security Council, warns that Russia can become a "colony" of one of the neighboring countries, and this situation can be very dangerous.

The Secretary of the National Security Council said this during a telethon.

"If someone believes that 2023 will be easy, that everything is over with the Russians and everything will be fine, then I do not share this point of view. The fact is that the Russians may have owners," he said.

Oleksiy Danilov noted that today experts are observing a trend: a certain neighboring country is gradually taking the Russian Federation under its control.

"It (a country neighboring the Russian Federation - ed.) has its own interests there. And this is a very, very dangerous trend for the whole world, including for us," Oleksiy Danilov said.

The secretary of the NSDC did not say which country it was about.

He replied that he noted the processes that are taking place.

"You have to pay very close attention to them," Danilov said.

Danilov said that the head of the GUR, Kyrylo Budanov, "is right, Russia has one and a half to two attacks as powerful as 100-120 rockets left."

"But we mean that they may get unexpected "friends" and Russia may become a colony," he warned.

Earlier it was noted that the impact of economic sanctions on the Russian Federation is becoming more noticeable.

The country is trying to bypass sanctions and import components, but it is not so easy to do.

We will remind that the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said that Russia used a very large amount of ammunition at once.
