Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlud Çavuşoğlu and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation.

According to the news reported by APA with reference to the Turkish NTV TV channel, Mevlud Çavuşoğlu said during the telephone conversation that a tripartite meeting was held between the foreign ministers of Turkey, Russia and Syria.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey said that he proposed to start preparations for the meeting in the second half of January and preparations will be started in this regard.

Mevlud Çavuşoğlu also noted that the meeting can be held in Moscow or in a third country.

It should be noted that earlier a meeting was held between the defense ministers of Turkey, Russia and Syria in Moscow.
