In the cold chance, on armored vehicles and behind the barrels - this is how the guys at ground zero in Donetsk region welcome the new year.

It is reminiscent of the holiday, except for the calendar and tangerines and the Bethlehem fire, which was managed to be delivered from Jerusalem to the front line, TSN reports.

"There was constant shelling of the art and at night, 2-3 men climbed up, the largest number was 12", - say the fighters.

The occupiers are trying to move through landings and fields at night, going to storm our fortifications.

Fights for every square meter of land.

Andriy calls his state "here at zero" - between heaven and earth.

"Time somehow changes when there is shelling.

As you can see, it lies two or three meters away," he says.

All the land in the Donbass and Luhansk region is torn by shells and rockets.

The calendar and mandarin oranges remind us of the New Year.

In rain and snow, on Christmas and New Year - the boys work on their monster.

"The feeling is that the war must be ended as soon as possible, more work must be done.

They don't understand, it is necessary to make them more good Russians," the fighters are convinced.

In Donbas, the fighting does not subside, the fields shake from artillery explosions.

Ours are working, and they are already being hunted by the occupiers' barrel artillery even a few hours before the new year.

"Jokes, black humor always help, it always helps to get away from fear, helps to survive stress", - assure the soldiers.

The occupiers push, they are burned, and they push again, that is why our RSZVvts go to the target several times a day.

Today, volunteers from Lviv brought the Bethlehem fire and a gift to the boys.

"This year, most of the military are celebrating Christmas at the front.

They decided to light this symbolic fire, which symbolizes support, unity, and help.

To deliver to the front line so that they can feel a part of the world's warmth," says volunteer Ivan.

Soldiers from various units came to collect the fire, it is taken to companies and battalions.

The soldiers already have a small Christmas tree, decorated with a machine gun ribbon and, a machine gun, and an angel - these are all festive attributes on the front line.

Someone is on post, someone is in a trench, someone is in a tank, but mentally they are all at home with their families, in the country that defeated the "Russian peace".

The guys from the front lines congratulate the Ukrainians with their own words.

"The main thing is a peaceful sky overhead, so that all our boys return alive, so that our Ukraine will prosper and be a strong state, like a pearl in a crown," - say the fighters.
