9,879 drivers and passengers were checked.

1,643 slips and 531 acts were drawn up for established administrative violations, reports the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Emphasis in the action is the prohibition of driving by drivers who have consumed alcohol, narcotic substances and/or their analogues, as well as driving of motor vehicles by unlicensed drivers.

Within the past day, a total of 25 drivers were found to have gotten behind the wheel after consuming alcohol - 12 of them were driving after consuming alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 per thousand, 13 - with more than 1.2 per 1000, and four stopped for testing refused to be tested.

9 people were found to be driving under the influence of narcotic substances or their analogues, and five refused to be tested.

From the aggregated data: 2,823 motor vehicles and 2,849 drivers and passengers were checked by the "linear control" method;

594 slips and 121 AUAN were drawn up for established violations.

Three drivers were found sitting behind the wheel after using alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 per million, and four - with more than 1.2 per million.
