The occupiers divided the massive shelling on New Year's holidays into at least two parts in advance - December 29 and December 31.

Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said

"They planned this earlier. They planned it by analogy with the shelling on October 10 and 11. There were 50 rockets on the first day, 28 on the second," Ignat said.

According to him, today is a continuation of the massive attack.

"They made a plan that they would do it on the 31st anyway," Ignat suggested.

We will remind you that on December 29, Russia fired 69 missiles at Ukraine, 54 of which were shot down by the Ukrainian military.

According to the military, on December 29, the enemy attacked Ukraine with Kh-101/Kh-555 air-based cruise missiles.

They were launched from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Volgodonsk region of the Rostov region and the northern region of the Caspian Sea.
