UGC NET 2023: Registration for UGC NET begins, exam from February 21 to March 10

UGC NET 2023 Registration:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2023) of the University Grants Commission from Thursday.

Interested students can apply for UGC NET through the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The application forms for UGC NET will be filled till January 17, 2023.

UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar has confirmed the UGC NET registration and exam date on Twitter.

He tweeted, "UGC-NET December 2022 schedule: Date of submission of online application form is from 29 December 2022 to 17 January 2023 (up to 05:00 PM) and exam date is from 21 February 2023 to 10 March 2023." ''

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC-NET December 2022 for 'Junior Research Fellowship' and eligibility for 'Assistant Professor' in 83 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

UGC NET 2023: Exam dates

UGC NET 2023 exam will start from 21 February, which will run till 10 March 2023.

Explain that there is an examination to determine the eligibility of Indian citizens for 'Assistant Professor' and 'Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor' in various universities of the country.

UGC NET 2023: Application Fee

General category candidates will have to pay Rs 1100 to fill the UGC NET application form.

General and EWS/ OBC NCLL category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 550.

At the same time, SC, ST and Divyang category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 275.

UGC NET 2023: Exam Pattern

UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year.

Once this exam is conducted in December and second time in June.

This exam is now conducted by NTA.

UGC NET is a national level online exam.

This exam is conducted for 180 minutes.

There are two papers in this exam.

Paper-1 consists of 50 and Paper-2 consists of 100 multiple choice questions.

There is no negative marking in the exam.

This exam is conducted in both Hindi and English languages.

1.Visit the official website of UGC NET 2023 at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

2.Click on the “Apply For UGC NET 2023” link on the homepage. 

3. Register yourself on the portal.

After that fill the application form.

4. Now upload the scanned documents.

5. Finally submit the form by paying the application fee.
