US President Joe Biden approved the bill on the budget for the fiscal year 2023 in the amount of 1.7 trillion dollars, of which 44.9 billion dollars will go to emergency support for Ukraine and American allies under NATA.

The document was published by the White House.

Biden signed the bill passed by Congress last week while vacationing on the Caribbean island of Santa Cruz.

The legislation includes record funding for the Department of Defense, emergency aid to Ukraine, additional aid for students with disabilities, additional funding to protect workers' rights and additional resources for job training, and help to increase housing affordability for families, veterans, and people who suffered from domestic violence.

The bill with the volume of more than 4,000 pages was adopted by the majority of senators (68 votes for, 29 against) with the support of 18 of the 50 Republicans in the Senate.

The bill was also adopted by the House of Representatives by a 225-201 majority along party lines.
