Belarus is preparing for war

On December 30, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus, Ihor Kyzim, reported that the military of the Republic of Belarus and Russia were preparing for war.

He noted that the presence of Russian soldiers in Belarus is the main risk.

As long as the occupying forces remain on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, there will be a threat of an attack on Ukraine.

The commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev, reported that the level of the threat of an attack from Belarus is increasing.

But, as the Ukrainian military leadership assures, the Armed Forces are monitoring the situation and taking the necessary measures.

Meanwhile, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov notes that there is a

risk of the participation of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Belarus

in a repeated attempt to attack Ukraine this winter.

However, this is not in the interests of the leadership of the republic.
