In the "Action" application, a survey has been completed regarding the date of Christmas - December 25 or January 7.

This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

According to him, the survey became one of the most massive.

More than 1.5 million people took part in it.

The largest number of Ukrainians supported the date

of celebrating Christmas on December 25

: 58.99% of votes (903,265).

25.48% (390,125) chose to celebrate on January 7.

The "both dates" option was supported by 12.59% of Ukrainians.

We will remind you that 

Christmas is preceded by Christmas Eve.

That is why Roman Catholics celebrated it on December 24, and Orthodox believers celebrated it on January 6.

On this day, they still observe fasting and prepare a festive dinner.
