Regular monitoring is carried out by the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service under the Ministry of Economy for the purpose of state control of advertising activities.

"APA-Economics" reports with reference to the information disseminated by the agency's press service that as a result of monitoring, signs of violation of the requirements of the legislation were identified in the advertisements published by a number of economic entities involved in the production and sale of alcoholic beverages in some mass media and social networks.

Thus, in the above-mentioned advertisements, the image of people who do not use alcoholic beverages was discredited, as well as it was stated that the emotional state of a person will improve as a result of using alcoholic beverages.

About the advertised products, phrases such as "the most loved and drunk", "the tastiest alcoholic drink" were used, and there were mentions of some alcoholic drinks being the best in the world and softer than other drinks.

At the same time, in addition to demonstrating the process of using alcoholic beverages, the advertisements did not include a warning about the harmfulness of excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages to health.

According to the legislation, the formation of the opinion that as a result of the use of alcoholic beverages, a person will gain public reputation, achieve personal success in the profession, sports or other fields, improve his physical or emotional condition, discredit those who do not use alcoholic beverages, movies and animation films of well-known people in society. it is forbidden to use pictures of heroes, animals and to show the process of using alcoholic beverages.

Advertising of alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of more than 5 percent must be accompanied by a warning that excessive consumption is harmful to health.

This warning should occupy not less than 10% of the advertising space.

Investigations have been started by the State Service on signs of violation of the law.

According to the results of the investigations, legal measures will be taken.
