The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hints that next year 2023 there will be an increase in "cotton" on the territory of Russia.

This was announced by the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Brigadier General Oleksiy Gromov, Ukrinform writes.

"There will be even more "cotton" next year," said Gromov, answering questions about the trend of increasing explosions in various regions of the Russian Federation.

"Cotton" in the Russian Federation

In the Russian Federation, explosions and fires at airfields and various military bases have been happening more and more recently.

The last sound of explosions was heard on the night of December 26 at the military airfield in Engels.

The

control point of the air base could be destroyed there.

The previous time, after the "cotton", it was reported about the damage of two Tu-95 bombers, which are attacking Ukraine.

According to Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, the incidents in the Russian Federation are

"an objective consequence of the process called war."

British intelligence believes that the explosions at military facilities of the Russian Federation indicate problems with medium-range air defense systems, since its facilities, both inside the country and at the front, were left without protection.
