The British Embassy reacted to the Russian missile attack on Ukraine on December 29.

British Ambassador Melinda Simmons is sure that "Russia does not want peace with Ukraine, it wants to conquer Ukraine."

The British ambassador to Ukraine wrote about this on Twitter.

The diplomat noted that, by continuing to attack Ukraine, Russia demonstrates real intentions not to stop aggression against Ukrainians.

"Russian missiles have been launched into Ukraine. Civilians have been injured. Russia rejects the peace plan proposed by President Zelensky. Russia does not want peace with Ukraine - it wants to conquer Ukraine," her post reads.

Russia's morning attack on December 29

On the morning of December 29, Russia again massively shelled Ukrainian cities.

Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

So, an enemy missile hit one of the energy facilities in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

In addition, the fall of missiles was recorded in the region, which will be neutralized later. 

Also, during a large-scale air alert, a Russian missile hit a residential building in a village in Prykarpattia.

The photo of the hit was shown by the deputy head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine informed that during the massive missile attacks on Ukraine on December 29, Russia fired more than 69 missiles.

The Ukrainian military managed to shoot down

54 enemy missiles.
