Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiyy put forward a "10 peace plan" at the G20 summit in November, urging leaders of all countries to hold a global peace summit based on this.

The plan is as follows:

1. Radiation and nuclear safety: focus on restoring safety around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe.

The nuclear power plant is currently occupied by Russia.

2. In terms of food security: to protect and ensure Ukraine's grain exports to the world's poorest countries.

3. Energy security: limit the price of Russian energy resources and assist Ukraine in repairing half of the power infrastructure that has been damaged in the attack.

4. Release all prisoners and deportees, including prisoners of war and children deported to Russia.

5. To restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine, Russia must respect the Charter of the United Nations.

6. Withdrawal of Russian troops and cessation of hostilities, reopening of the Ukraine-Russia border.

7. Judiciary: Create a special court to prosecute Russian war crimes.

8. Prevention of ecocide: implement the need to protect the environment, while focusing on demining and restoration of water treatment facilities.

9. Prevent conflict escalation and create a space security architecture for the Euro-Atlantic region, including safeguards for Ukraine.

10. Confirmation of the end of the war, including having relevant parties sign relevant documents.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded on the 28th: "If Ukraine does not take into account the current reality, that is, four regions have been incorporated into the Russian territory, it is impossible to negotiate a peace agreement."

●Russian Foreign Minister: It is Moscow's ultimate goal to fully control and annex District 4

In an interview on the 28th, Sergei Lavrov reiterated Moscow's position that Kyiv should recognize Russia's annexation of four Ukrainian regions in order to resume negotiations.

"Our absolute priority is 4 new Russian regions," he said, "and these regions should not be subject to the threat of Nazism that they have been facing for years."

Russia is not yet fully in control of Ukraine's Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhia regions, which Lavrov confirmed are Moscow's ultimate goals.

Kremlin: Putin and Xi Jinping held a video conference on 12/30

Peskov said today that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold talks tomorrow via videoconference.

"First, they will discuss Sino-Russian bilateral relations. Then, of course, it will be very important to exchange views on more pressing regional issues, issues that are closer to us, Russia and China," he said.

Moscow has sought to deepen economic, political and security ties with Beijing since Russia sent troops to invade Ukraine in February.

Prior to this, Russia and China declared that their friendship had "no limit".

However, Xi Jinping has shown indifference to Russia's military actions in Ukraine. Putin publicly admitted in September that Xi Jinping has misgivings about Russia's actions.
