Kiyan was intrigued by a mysterious Volkswagen car that drives around the city with a mini-HIMARS on the trunk.

website spoke with the owners of the unusual car.

Looking ahead, let's say that the installation is not real, but the purpose of such "decoration" makes sense in the conditions of war.

An unusual car has been driving the streets of Kyiv for three days.

But as soon as the Volkswagen with the mini-HIMARS stopped at the underpass on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, we were immediately surrounded by several people who took pictures of the car and took selfies against its background.

The idea of ​​creating such a creative car belongs to Anton Skuratov, a blogger, volunteer and co-founder of the charitable foundation and its volunteer partners.

"The installation definitely doesn't shoot - it's a dummy. Our creative team created this unusual HIMARS-mini design together with blogger partner Anton Ivanko, who helps our gunners. These guys at the front use HIMARS. They take part of the real installation that flies out after a shot. This metal is used to make souvenir watches. These installations greatly affect the course of war. That is why we decided to thank our gunners, as well as our American partners, who provide us with these effective weapons. Souvenir watches made of real HIMARS parts are a thank you to people who donate money to ZSU," Anton Skuratov explains to us.

The structure on the trunk itself is a prop, an ordinary dummy.

It was securely fastened with bolts.

"It's an exact copy of HIMARS. But we went further and installed a special mechanism. Thanks to it, the rig can be raised and lowered. It's all for attention. You can even decorate the rig with a garland, which we've already done. This project was created to draw attention to raising funds for of our gunners, who are now fighting at the front. Their needs are increasing, and people's capabilities are decreasing. That's why we need to help," says one of the authors of the idea of ​​an unusual car.

Thus, the boys want to draw attention to volunteer fundraising for the needs of gunners.

"For now, there is only one such installation. We plan to sell it at an auction after collecting funds, and transfer the money to the needs of the Armed Forces. If someone wants such an installation to attract attention, we are ready to help. Before leaving on the streets of Kyiv from the workshop where mines were installed - HIMARS, we turned to the patrol police and informed about our intentions. The police only wished us a good gathering. The police and KMDA knew that this was not a weapon," says Anton Skuratov.

The blogger adds that the people of Kyiv react very positively to the installation.

People take pictures of the car, wave their hands, and the military is simply delighted with such an idea.
